CHEST COMPRESSION INDICATING LIGHTS

These light up to represent the volume of blood circulated by chest compressions. This volume depends on the depth of the compressions. These only fully illuminate when the depth of compressions is greater than 5cm in line with the 2010 CPR Guidelines.

LIGHTS INDICATING BLOOD CIRCULATION

These light up to represent the flow of blood from the heart to the brain. The rate of blood flow shown varies with the depth and speed of the compressions. These will only fully turn on when the compression rate is above 100 per minute.

CPR QUALITY INDICATOR LIGHT

Illuminates to indicate that blood is reaching the brain. This only lights up fully when the depth and speed of the compressions are correct.
